History of Sri Vignesh Educational Institutions
Sri Vignesh educational trust is a Respected name in TamilNadu’s educational landscape, with roots in delivering quality education since the mid-2000s.
Our Journey: Sri Vignesh Educational Trust
Originally a teacher turned developer and took ownership and founded a school in 2002, renaming it VIGNESH SRI RENGA MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL.
Sri Vignesh educational trust launched its inaugural institution –SRI VIGNESH VIDYALAYA SCHOOL –on June 1, koothur, Tiruchirappalli. Starting from modest beginnings, it now operates a full-fledged CBSE-affiliated campus from the CLASS LKG to Grade 12
With growing success, the trust founded SRI VIGNESH POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE, offering five engineering diplomas and marking a bold expansion into technical education.
The Trust expanded its CBSE intiative by opening Sri Vignesh Public School in Woraiyur,Tiruchirappalli, officially inaugurated on June8
Building on Educational momentum, the trust has upgraded from polytechnic into a full fledged SRI VIGNESH COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLGY,KOOTHUR-TRICHY.

Thiru D. Virudhachalam is a visionary anchor behind the Vignesh group of institutions—bringing teacher-centric values, academic discipline, infrastructure development, and rural outreach under one umbrella.
- Early Career & Transition (Pre‑1993)Started as a school teacher, laying the foundation for his lifelong commitment to education.
- In the early 1990s, pivoted into real estate development by founding Vignesh Flats Housing Promoters, successfully completing over 2,000 residential units in Trichy and Madurai .
Vision & Legacy
Virudhachalam’s guiding motto for students: “Perfection is our goal and Precision is our aim”, reflecting his commitment to excellence .
